Is Binemon play-to-earn? Is it worth investing in Binemon this year?

This is an update from our previous post; https://www.memetaverse.net/2021/11/is-binemon-play-to-earn-and-worth-investing-today.html

Is Binemon play-to-earn still worth investing in 2022? Despite its up and down, not due to market conditions but due to devs' decisions, "Yes", Binemon is still worth investing this year -- it still shows a lot of promise and the cross-platform; Binemon, ShibaMons, and Battlememe is a gamechanger. However, their slogan

No players left behind
is no longer true with the latest development and update over the last two (2) months, from killing Wood rank in PVP, proposing to remove Silver and Bronze rewards as of this writing, and probably more to come that's not favorable to the masses, hopefully, I am wrong and they'll do what's right for everyone.

As an avid fan and pioneer in the game, we had great fun, we met great people and friends in the game, Binemon is still a great game, kudos to its game development, they're able to keep up and implement lots, I'm not sure if how big is their development team as it was never discussed publicly, but they did create an awesome play-to-earn game but is it a rewarding? Depending on your goal and perspective, in our opinion playing and investing in more than 20 GameFi this year, this game is not for entry-level players and investors, the game is also having difficulty finding its real identity, e.g. renaming OkeWar to ShibaMons as Shib is trendy, from Meme to Metaverse, and now Squid Game (and Squid is no longer trendy, bSocial to no longer sociable, DRK Chain to BNB Chain (and the majority are working on their own network) and lots, which shows they have a great dev, but poor management who might be confused if what they really stand for? Amazon, Apple, and Google won't be what they are today if they are confused, chasing trends, and not focused on their belief and what they stand for, hopefully, Binemon can see its identity and what it stands for soon. As GameFi development is still a race, the most innovative, creative, and caring project will definitely stand out.

Pros:

  • Cross-Platform; Binemon, ShibaMons, and BattleMeme
  • 3D Graphics, Idle RPG
  • DRK Chain -  migrated to BNB Chain - DRK Chain can put Binemon to 1000x
  • Competitive gameplay with a lot of top players heavily invested in the game
  • Multiple burning mechanisms and mini games

Cons:

  • Rewards are not equitable to the value of investment short term, long term is also hard to digest when Devs are in the shadow (unknown), CEO just a figurehead and any devs can rug pull anytime w/ the current system (even CertiK audit is not an assurance as proven by lots of rug pulled project last year)
  • Lack of Community Engagement and transparency, almost no AMA and publicly addressing major concerns in-game and its community
  • Game is all about upgrading your team by fusion and now gems (used to be strategic), they could have put a limit to fusion to create interest in-game, like episodes and create a power balance across the board, but this is a business after all
  • Lacking balance in a very competitive PVP, and no rewards in PVE to balance PVP gameplay
  • No focus on its lore, and what makes an RPG great and interesting!

I've played the game and used to maintain gold rank after hitting Ruby in the first season, but this is a play-to-earn game, and it is hard to digest if you are here for fun while earning from an entry-level standpoint, I hope the devs can pull this through as this game can really succeed and even beat Axie Infinity if they think of the masses, and deploying updates with a customer-first mindset.

We wish Binemon and the BINarmy all the best that the devs will learn and grow with everyone in the community, I would like to thank OverPowered and OutPlay Guild as well for the trust and great time in the game, we are still hoping to see Binemon in the top chart soon as the best #P2E, not by social signal, but by its worth, for now, this will be our last post in Binemon, thanks for the roller coaster ride!
