Binemon Skill Analysis - How to win the war with cats and dogs! - Part 1

This guide is based on the current Binemon's gameplay as of September 12, 2021. These are all my opinion based on my lifetime experience in playing MMORPG like RO, RPG like FF, RTS like SC, etc. if these acronyms don't make sense, I'm hoping this guide will help you get a better winning rate and not just based it in luck and prayers. 😂

First, please note there's no one size fits all or best setup and/or formation, everything will depend on your existing Mons, what stats, sub-stats, and skills they have, you also have to consider what's the setup and Mons of your rival/enemy, hence its always best to study each of your Mons and adjust accordingly, this is why Binemon is unique with ten (10) elements in one Mon, see the following elements that makeup one (1) Mon;
  • 4 Races: Dog, Cat, Unicorn, Titan
  • 5 Class: Tanker, Mage, Fighter, Archer, Support
  • 3 Primary Stats: Strength (Damage, HP); Agility ( Attack Speed, Armor); Intelligent (Magic Power, Skill Casting Speed, Magic Resistance)
  • 5 Stats from Equipment: Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Dodge Chance, HP Regen, MP Regen
  • 2 Skills: Passive influenced by Race, Ultimate influenced by Class
  • 7 Rank: E < D < C < B < A < S < SR
  • 8 Parts: Head, Body, Tail, Ears, Face, Skin, Horn, Wings
  • 3 Forms: Baby, Teenage, Adult
  • Level: 1-20, 20-60, 60-100
  • Arrange the team formation: 5 Mons to be in your fighting squad
Is this game pay to win? Depending on your perspective, but like any gacha games, definitely a big yes, especially in PVP, you can't expect Rank E to win against Rank B, however, it doesn't mean Rank Es can't compete, with enough experience and strategy, Rank Es should be able to overpower Rank D and C, I've done this with my "Paw Patrol" team, composed of cats and dogs winning against Rank D and the most feared Titan. Hence without further ado, we will go over the following skills that caught our attention and we feel its misused and how to utilize them at their best, including formation.

e.g., its best to put your Healer at the furthest left (corner) back row or Tile #4 as shown in the formation below, however, if it heals too late (due to low attack speed of your Mon), you might have to move it one tile to the right (Tile #5, and #6) to adjust its timing and all, you have to observe when your Healer will heal and is it enough to support your frontline (e.g., Tanker and Fighter) team? we will be discussing different skills, how to counter and all based on our experience playing the game for the last.

NOTE: If you're new to the game and wanna learn the different skills in-game, we posted an article about the existing skills in Binemon from this post.

Why Healer (healer are Mons with a skill called Blessing of Life) in the back row?
  • You need Healer/Support to survive and die last
  • They should be able to heal your tank/front line and continuously replenish their health
  • It's recommended to have a high Damage Per Second (DPS) Healer/Support, the faster they can attack, the faster their MP bar will fill in and deploy "Blessing of Life".
  • There are some players using Healer in the front row as tank and support, this is ideal if it can take hits, but if it can't it should survive or there's no point for a healer to die first in the battle.
The Strongest Sidekick (the only Buff skill as of this writing)
  • This is the most underrated skill and lots of players are using this incorrectly, if this skill is properly deployed (means used with the right timing) to a Mon/s with a high damage skill like Projectile Barrage and Almighty Blow, this can be very destructive buff and in effect, it can possibly wipe out your entire enemies' Mons.
  • As the skill description says "Summons a support being which follows the strongest ally to boost 60% damage", you need to make sure you only use a Support Mon w/ this skill if it will buff your Mons with the highest destructive skill, most of the time I'm seeing a healer getting buffed and its a waste of move😅 unless the healer is destructive enough, but this is best coupled with nuke type skills that can hit multiple Mons like Rapid Severance, and Projectile Barrage.
  • Advance Tip: Test your formation and Mons, and see if its able to buff your Mon on the right time, and the ones who can dish out a lot of damage.
Colossus
  • We observed lots of titan users putting their titans w/ Colossus at the back row, usually, there's two outcome by doing this; either the game will result to a "Draw" or they'll lose the game due to failure of Titan resurrecting late -- yes there's a couple of turns/seconds before it will resurrect (we haven't timed yet --- will update soon!)
  • Colossus is the most overrated skill in our opinion and feared by most players, but there's a lot of factors on how to counter Titans with Colossus.

How to win against Titan with Colossus using Cats and Dogs;

  • First, you have to be smart, you can't keep trying your luck without studying your enemy, we created a guide on how to start the battle in PVP and selecting your rival, you may refer to this link.
  • Use cats and dogs with high DPS focusing on Critical Skills (Adapter and Swift Movements), if you're attacking too fast before the titan makes its turn, he will eventually die and he won't be able to resurrect, it happened a lot of times wherein my Archer and Fighter are attacking two times faster than my enemy and their titans died before it made a turn.
  • What if you're facing a team of Titans with Colossus, what's the best way to counter it?

RUN!!! There's no way winning it, worst you might end up with a Draw, waste of tickets 😂

Is there a chance to win with Cats and Dogs only? Absolutely! Binemon is doing an impressive job in stats balancing over the last couple of days and given that Titans are slow, focusing on high Agility Cats and Dogs with Swift Movements and Adapter should pave to victory, also;
  • Since Cats and Dogs are cheaper, fusing them to higher Ranks should be more affordable VS Unicorn and Titans, I've seen a lot of Rank B Cats and Dogs gaining huge advantages against a team of E and D Titan, a solid Cat/Dog with high DPS can make a huge difference in the battle.
  • All mons are not created equal, but this is true to everyone, some might be gifted with luck or wealth to get a stronger and pure breed Mons, but the end of the day, it is all about strategizing what you have and most importantly having fun while playing, #P2E money will follow after :)
We will continue reviewing other skills in our Part 2 and specific set utilizing cats and dogs only, stay tuned! Please follow us in twitter for notification, or in our bSocial and Facebook page.

Are there other skills or setup you would like us to review? Feel free to comment and/or share your thoughts! Good luck!
