I've been playing the latest MMORPG from Pearl Abyss called Black Desert Mobile, and so far I can't stop playing the game (brings back my old memories in playing MMORPG in PC), so far the game is pretty balance and by far the only MMORPG that I've played for the last couple of years that let's a free to play (F2P) players compete competitively with premium players (or pay to play - P2P). Most online games are pay to win! But this game change the landscape of mobile MMORPG. It runs very solid so far. if I may complain, I'm hoping for a better guild and war system :)

Anyways, to cut the chase --- I saw a lot of guides in YouTube and game sites, but I always felt there are still a lot of missing items that they tend to neglect, this game is very simple yet complicated as lots are not totally explained in the game, hence I made this guide or sort of a checklist to maximize your time in the game! Here's my top10 guide and/or checklist.
2. Black Spirit Mode! One of the best feature in this game is the ability to go AFK (Away on Keyboard/or now Mobile Phone), and let your player grind or keep farming (auto-play) for 3 to 6 hours (if you have the Black Spirit Plus), hence its always best to go in Black Spirit (BS) mode if you're away or not using your phone! Don't waste a single minute without any action either online or offline in Black Desert Mobile.
3. Blood-kin! +15 Attack Points (AP) and Defense Points (DP) ---Start socializing and get a friend in game or recruit your friends to play with you! Always "Affirm Pact" once the buff expires , you can get up to +15 Attack and Defense, as well as 5% combat experience, always make sure your friends are online in order for you to "Affirm Pact". You can also get a weekly quest from Blood-kin!
4. Always review "Friend's List" under Social -- one thing I learned from playing online mobile games are the number of fly-by-night players, lots are going in and out hence its always best to review and get rid of inactive friends after 1 week! (or earlier) get rid of sentimental value =P Having an active friends will get you a faster social tokens to purchase in the Shop, the more active friends you have the faster you earn these tokens.

5. Gotta catch 'em all! Get or breed a Tier 5 Horse ASAP! Horse can give you an awesome buff that will last for 2 hours, mine gives me +17 Attack, it greatly helps me in my daily farming! It's also easy and free to tame horses, start breeding and get the best horse available in the game. Check my YouTube video in breeding Tier 5 Horse successfully :) Make sure to get 3 active pets too!
6. Keep your workers busy! Let them gather, build, craft, or go on Node (via Node Manager)
7. Go Amity! Don't take Amity Quest for granted, its the best way to rack up Black Pearls and get a discount in different shops! (Potions, Books, Crystals, and more!).
8. Learn Runes / Branch Damage early in the game; Aal, Serrett, Labreve, and Ahib. You might be wondering if what these weird characters in the game, but these are the stats to look for besides the regular stats; attack, defense, hp, crit, attack and move speed. These runes will elevate your character in a higher level and change the way you play the game long term, here's a quick explanation with these branches:
- Aal - Increase Skill Damage, a must for all classes (debatable if Ahib or Aal)
- Serrett - Increase Number of Targets; increase AoE (Area of Effect) -- usable for PvE (Player VS Environment)
- Ahib - Chance of Extra Damage, more damage, the more the merrier!
- Labreve - Increase Skill Crit Chance
9. Knowledge is Power! Complete your knowledge in the game ASAP! Here's a quick link with great YouTube videos on how to unlock all the Knowledge in the game, credits to V4Van for the great tutorial and hard work!
10. Enjoy and have fun always =P There's no point to play a game with full of frustrations or playing like working, a game should be fun and refreshing, I usually play games to unwind from a busy day and de-stress, not to get stress! Always remember to work and play hard.
