If you love playing Contra or Metal Slug on an arcade or console, then Gunfire Hero might be the game for you! It requires a lot of skills for you to survive, and earn while playing for free! Gunfire Hero (https://www.stephero.io/game/gunfire) is totally free and doesn't require you to invest, however it is not the easiest path to take due to the following;
- The game is skill-based like Contra and Metal Slug, it gets tougher as you progress (and there's no cheat or god mode 😂)
- You need to pass World 6 (as of this writing) for you to withdraw the rewards you've earned in-game, and without investing, it will take time for you to farm your equipment (probably more than a month)
- No equipment in a form of NFT makes you vulnerable in the game, its also hard to upgrade as it requires you to have $STEP in upgrading your character and talent; talent is a permanent buff in your account to make your character/s stronger

- Strong customer service and support, it won't matter if you are playing for free or not
Cons
- The game can be very repetitive, especially in farming your equipment, latest update nerfed the chances of drop and earning $STEP, they also nerf the # of times you can do the daily quest
- It's almost impossible to pass World 6 without equipment, hence the only way is to invest or grind until you have enough equipment to win the game
- You can only withdraw twice a week in an hour window, I wish they open the withdrawal for at least a day, as not everyone is in the same timezone 😅
Overall, Gunfire Hero is a fun game, but if this is not the kind of game that you are interested in, it can be very repetitive and boring over time.
