There are already tons of articles on the internet on how to save battery for your iPhone and/or iOS device, and we suggest this guide for reference; https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-save-battery-life-on-your-iphone.
We won't go into detail as most of these are already covered in the article from PCMag, kudos to the author he did add all possible ways to save battery life on our iPhone.
Advance tip;
- Change the network to 3G if you have a poor signal, this is especially true if you have a 4G/5G phone, they will drain your battery faster as it keeps looking for a better signal, if you're in a remote area with no phone signal, put your phone in airplane mode to save battery.
- Batteries have a limited number of cycles (# of times we can charge) to increase the battery life don't charge at 100% always as this will quickly deteriorate the battery life, hence best practice is to charge around 10 to 20% and stop charging once it hits at 80 to 90%, newer phones also auto discharge or it stops charging once it hits 100%.
- Fully cycle the battery once a month, drain to zero and charge to 100%.
- Multiple top-ups or charging the battery won't harm the battery itself as long as it doesn't go zero most of the time (hence using a wireless charger is a good way to keep the juice up most of the time) contrary to rumors that wireless charging will ruin the battery faster.
- Don't keep charging if the phone is hot, high temperature will reduce battery life.
